1.) lower price end for hammer drill and works great

This is just being used for household projects but I am now able to drill into concrete floors and block with ease when combined with the Milwaukee percussion bits purchased at the same time. Putting holes into blocks for tapcons was almost as easy as drilling holes into wood with the hammer action. The look and feel of the tool seems like very good quality too. I have no way of knowing how this would hold up to use by a professional but I am betting it lasts me for many many years for my use.

This is the third hammer drill that I have owned. This one performs the best of any of them. This Black and Decker has two different speeds that are variable and the hammer works better than the other two that I had. I would recommend it to any one that needs a good hammer drill or regular drill.

Bought this drill as a present for my DH. He loves it!! He reported that it was more powerful than his old drill, loves the fact that it has a reverse action, two speeds....man he loves everything down to the storage bag. Great buy. Great product
4.) Works well for projects around the house

I wanted to mount shelves to the cement walls in the basement. I struck out when trying to use a regular drill with masonry bits and I heard that the .22 caliber cartridges arent the best way for strenght. Combined with a good masonry drill, I was able to install about 100 feet of shelving fairly quickly. I highly recommend it if you either have a critical job to do or a job that would require over 20 holes.
5.) Must have for any homeowner

I have a brick house and have been struggling drilling holes through the masonry. This drill cuts through concrete, brick and stone like a knife through butter. And it's got a setting for regular drill mode.

I didnt want to pay someone to mount shelves against the foundation in the basement so I bought this drill. Combined with a quality drill bit, it works very well. Its kinda on the heavy side but I just used it intermittently and put up about 200 feet of shelving in a weekend.

This hammer drill works well and is loaded with features. It gives the impression of quality construction. I used the drill to secure an item to 40 year old concrete with no problems. Amazon shipping and pricing are great.
11.) very good drill for the homeowner

For the price, this is an excellent drill for the homeowner. I've used it in both regular and hammer modes and it worked perfectly for both. We own a brick home and undoubtedly will use the drill occasionally for projects around the house. The drill is not constructed for commercial use but is perfect for the average homeowner/handyperson.
12.) Good Value, Hard to Change Gears

I received this drill as a gift, and have not used it extensively yet, but overall I'm quite pleased. The only negative I've seen so far is that the knob that switches between gears is extremely difficult to turn. I'm not able to turn it without using pliers to start it. Otherwise, it seems to be a great value for a powerful corded drill.
